Those particular wheels look more for a polishing action than for grinding away material, Larry. Most course one appears to be 100 grit and has a smooth rim. I'd rather see Jim get a much more course segmented rim wheel. I'd want a doublerow wheel, but a single row might work OK if he was careful with it. My opinion; worth price charged.
